Cookie Information

This website is designed to work without advertising or analytics cookies. We do not load non-essential tracking services at launch.

Last updated: 1 November 2026.

Browsing and requesting a quote

Public pages and the quote form do not set a customer tracking cookie. The form uses a security token and a signed timestamp to help verify submissions. Rate limiting is stored on the server using a keyed hash of connection information, rather than a browser identifier. Your enquiry does not enrol you in marketing.

Essential WordPress cookies

WordPress may set essential cookies when an authorised user visits the sign-in screen or signs in. These include a test cookie to check browser support, authentication cookies to maintain a signed-in session, and user settings cookies for dashboard preferences. These functions are for site administration; ordinary visitors do not need a WordPress account to enquire.

  • wordpress_test_cookie: checks cookie support on the sign-in screen; session lifetime.
  • wordpress_sec_* and wordpress_logged_in_*: maintain authorised sign-in sessions; duration depends on the “Remember Me” choice. WordPress normally uses a two-day session, or up to 14 days when remembered.
  • wp-settings-* and wp-settings-time-*: remember an authorised user’s dashboard preferences, generally for up to one year.

No decorative consent banner

The launch site does not use non-essential cookies that require a consent choice. If analytics, advertising or other optional services are added later, the cookie information and any required controls must be updated before those services load.

Managing cookies

You can use your browser settings to remove or block cookies. Blocking essential sign-in cookies may prevent authorised staff from using WordPress administration. For information about personal data, see the Privacy Notice.
